No To AI Art

Pretty sad that there are people/companies determined to make these AI tools which automate work that brings others so much joy to do. Though some people value human made art, there are still a lot who won't care and just want a pretty picture to hang on their walls etc. I've recently seen an add for a company selling prints with images that look like they all were generated by AI. Lots of comments on the post with people praising the beautiful work. And I've also seen people I know selling prints of this stuff though it looks nothing like their other artwork. The reality is that AI can create some stunning artwork, sometimes perfect for prints and concept art - mostly landscapes as it's still not great with hands. If not regulated people can and will abuse this tech and flood the markets with this stuff as it's already happening and I believe that artists should have been asked to opt in or out prior to these AIs being trained and offered royalties per prompt use. Unfortunately the floodgates have already been opened. I personally will be focusing more on traditional art mediums as well as game development etc. I will also focus a lot on hands with any future digital artwork haha

I really like Artstation a lot and I hope they can find a way to implement some regulation towards AI art publication here etc.

A possible solution I can think of is for Artstation to possibly create a separate gallery/section for AI generated art or a possible second site for it. For The AI companies, they should possibly include some type of digital signature in the pixels of each image with the prompt info and artists names used like some type of digital watermark etc. I know there are ways around this but it's a possible start. Resolution limitations could also help possibly.
